Hey ,

I've been deep in the weeds setting up the tattoo kits online shop...

And honestly, I had no idea it would be this much work.

For context, I'm a graphic designer by trade.

I've built websites for clients that went live in a single weekend.

No sweat!

But building a shop? Different story!

Suddenly, it's not just about making things look good.

It's about checkouts, payments, shipping integrations & making sure orders don't fall into the internet abyss...

Basically turning my little corner of the internet into a functioning store.

What I thought would be a week's worth of work shaped up to be at least a month.

And instead of 'designing a site', it feels more like I'm laying plumbing, wiring & stocking shelves in an invisible store that only exists if I build it right.

Oh & don't even get me started on decision overwhelm!
I can't make stupid simple design decisions.

Like for example, should I go with design option #1 or option #2?

And okay, tiny proud moment: if you’ve ever wandered over to my website, that’s all me. Not perfect, not polished within an inch of its life, but it feels like a solid brand & that's the only thing that matters.

Anyway, what do you think? Option 1 or 2?

Sending good vibes,
Nadine
