Hey ,

Spring is here, which means our summer tattoo kit launch is creeping up faster than laundry piles on a chair you swear you’ll fold later.

We’re only releasing 100 temp tattoo kits as a test run—seeing if people actually want this, gathering feedback, and making sure we’re not launching a product that only our moms will buy out of pity.

So, how are we selling the first 100 kits?

🔹 50 kits = workshop rotation. We partnered with a local café that matches our cozy, artsy vibe to host bi-weekly workshops.

People will learn to create their own designs and take home a kit—kind of like a makeup kit, but for tattoos. Bonus: We get to watch in real time if people can follow instructions without us hovering.

🔹 Content, content, content. Workshops = photos, videos, and social proof for the website, maybe even an Etsy shop (still debating).

🔹 Eventbrite + Airbnb Experiences. We don’t have a massive following (yet), so we’re tapping into platforms with an audience.

Our Airbnb Experience application got rejected at first (rude), but after tweaking our pitch, we got a “semi-yes.” Progress! (See snapshot below)

And for the last 50 kits?

We’re banking on word of mouth and YouTube.

Instead of screaming into the void on Instagram & TikTok, we’re playing the long game—creating search-based content that ranks on Google & YouTube.

Basically, we’re setting up a digital breadcrumb trail for people already searching for temp tattoos.

That’s the game plan! Now I’m curious—would you rather try a workshop first or dive straight into a kit? Help a girl out and let me know...

Sending Good Vibes,

Nadine
